The Telfer School of Management offers programs leading to graduate degrees in Organizational Performance Management, Scientific Management and Leadership, Public Management and Governance, and Leadership and Management, as well as the Master of Science (M.Sc. .) in management.
The master’s program aims to train specialists who will be able to contribute to academic excellence and influence the evolution of society by conducting strategic research and rigorous applied research in management, particularly in the areas of innovation management and entrepreneurship, as well as by disseminating the results of this research.
Students enrolled in the program can opt for a concentration in either of these two areas. The concentration is indicated on the transcript.
The M.Sc. in Management is a program participating in the multidisciplinary program in environmental sustainability (master’s level).
The objective of the multidisciplinary program in environmental sustainability is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and examine the economic, legal, political and scientific dimensions of environmental issues, and to apply a based on evidence for the development of relevant rational policies.
The doctoral program in management is offered under the aegis of the Telfer School of Management. The program is offered full-time in the following five fields:
- Accounting and control
- Entrepreneurship
- Finance
- Health systems
- Human resources management and organizational behavior
NOTE: The University of Ottawa offers a partial tuition fee waiver scholarship to French-speaking international students. This significant contribution to financing their study project allows for a considerable reduction in tuition fees.
To benefit from the partial exemption scholarship, international students must:
- accept an offer of admission to a program of study offered only in French;
OR
- have completed secondary or post-secondary studies in French for at least two years and have obtained their diploma; And
- register for compulsory courses in French if these courses are given in both official languages (French and English).
