The graduate course lasts 3 years. Newly qualified engineering officers begin their careers as third or fourth assistant engineers on board ship. As skills and experience develop they will attain higher certification and move to higher ranks. Students must have completed High School, and successfully pass qualifying exams in Mathematics and Geography
