In recent years, organizations have recognized the strategic importance of a systematic approach to human resources management (HRM). This program aims to deepen knowledge of the three key functions of HRM: personnel management, industrial relations and organizational behavior. It emphasizes practical and conceptual skills to enable students to work within various organizations, both in the private and public sectors as well as in non-profit organizations.
With the majority of our courses recognized by the Association of Human Resources Professionals of Ontario (APRHO), graduates of our program will be in demand in the job market. Consequently, graduates of the HRM program receive a BCom with a specialization in HRM, but also meet the educational requirements necessary to obtain the professional designation of Chartered Human Resources Advisor (CRHA).
This program is offered in French and English.
NOTE: The University of Ottawa offers a partial tuition fee waiver scholarship to French-speaking international students. This significant contribution to financing their study project allows for a considerable reduction in tuition fees.
